Preferences
Foodi is totally based on your preferences. To make things easier, we have added some symbols to define your preferences:

Budget: If you ever feel like you have gone over your budget this month, that cannot stop you from eating at your favorite restaurant or trying new places with our budget feature! You can simply set your budget in the preferences page, and let Foodi take care of the rest!
Cuisine: You're abroad and missing your country's food? Or you want to try a different cuisine? Foodi allows you to choose which cuisine you want to have today: Mediterranean, Japanese, America, Chinese, Italian, Mexican or Spanish.
Location: Don't want to drive too far? Or maybe no access to car? Don't worry! You can customize how far you want the restaurant to be from your location, or choose any other method of traveling like walking, taking a bus, metro or ordering an Uber. Once you choose a restaurant and click on "Location", Foodi will open your desired route on Google Maps.
Food Type: With our Food Type feature, you can let us know if you're in the mood for a bowl of soup, dessert, breakfast, healthy food or fast food.
Dietary Restriction: We are all inclusive! Whether you are vegetarian, vegan, pescatarian, allergic to nuts, lactose or you don't eat fish, you can adjust your preferences according to that!

Vibe: Going to a restaurant without knowing its vibes? That's not what we do in 21st century! Foodi's Vibe filter is here to help you decide what kind of pictures you'll post on your Instagram today! Our Vibe options include cafe, fast food, seafood/ on the water, nostalgic and you guessed it, INSTAGRAMMABLE themes!
In our “Recommended for you” page, you are recommended restaurants based on your customized preferences. You can see the restaurants’ logo, name and rating based on other users’ previous experiences with that restaurant. You will also see symbols representing your preferences. Each appearing symbol means that the restaurant fits in your customized preferences. For instance if you see the cuisine symbol (Earth), it means that the restaurant serves food from one or more cuisines that you chose. By clicking on the arrow next to each restaurant you can access the description of that restaurant.

Want to know which restaurants you can't resist? We share with you your top choices over time and give you the option to choose them again if you have cravings for the "usual".
Learn more
Found a restaurant you're interested in? Tap on it and you'll see which preferences match with the restaurant. Here, it shows that Shake Shack is at a good distance from where you are, it accommadates the dietary restriction you have, and it has both the cuisine and the type of food you want. Easy!
